Stuffed Cheese Pizza

To make the crust, dissolve the yeast in the warm water in a large bowl.
Add the flour, salt, oregano, oil and 1 cup water.
Mix well.
Knead the dough on a lightly-floured surface for about 2 minutes, or until the dough is smooth.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl.
Cover with a damp towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in bulk.
Punch down the dough.
Divide into two parts.
Press half the dough onto the bottom of a 10-inch oiled pie pan.
, sprinkle the cheese and broccoli over the dough.
Press the other half of the dough into a 10-inch round.
Set on top of the cheese and broccoli.
Crimp the edges together.
Make several slashes in the top crust.
Bake in a 400-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven.
Spread on the pizza sauce.
Bake for 5 minutes.

Heat oven to 425f.
Measure flour, baking powder, salt, milk and 1/4 cup salad oil into bowl.
Stir vigorously until mixture leaves side of bowl.

Spunky Vegetable Pizza

Preheat the oven to 450 fahrenheit spoon pizza sauce on pizza shell.
Put pizza shell on a cookie sheet.
Arrange vegetables over sauce.
Sprinkle on the cheese.
Bake for 10 minutes.
When baked, cool pizza for 3 minutes before slicing.
Cut into 8 wedges.

Spinach Phyllo Pizza

In a kettle cook the spinach in the water clinging to the leaves, covered, over moderate heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until it is just wilted, refresh it under cold water, and let it drain well in a colander while making the phyllo crust.
Preheat the oven to 400f.
Brush a baking sheet lightly with some of the butter, put 1 sheet of the phyllo on the butter, the brush it lightly withy some of the remaining butter.
Sprinkle the phyllo with 1 tablespoon of the parmesan, put another sheet of the phyllo on top, and press it firmly so that it adheres to the bottom layer.
Butter, sprinkle, and layer the remaining phyllo in the same manner, ending with a sheet of phyllo.
Brush the top sheet lightly with the remaining butter and bake the crust in the middle of the oven for 5 minutes.
Arrange the spinach evenly on the crust, leaving a 1-inch border all around, crumble the mint over it, and season the spinach with salt and pepper.
Scatter the onion over the spinach, sprinkle the pizza with the feta, and drizzle it with the oil.
Bake the pizza in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, and with a pizza wheel or sharp knife cut it into squares.

Spinach Pierogi Pizza

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Grease 13 x 9″ pan.
Unroll dough and place in greased pan; starting at center, press out with hands.
Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until light golden brown.
Meanwhile, in large skillet cook spinach and chopped onion in butter until onion is crisp-tender.
Stir in potatoes; mix well.
In small bowl, combine oil and garlic salt; mix well.
Brush over partially baked crust; top with spinach mixture.
Sprinkle with mozzarella and then cheddar cheeses; top with onion rings.
Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges of crust are golden brown.

Spinach And Ricotta Pizza

Combine the yeast, sugar, lukewarm water and 35g 1 1/2oz flour in a large bowl with your hands.
Let it proof for 10 minutes and add the remaining flour, salt, olive oil and water and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Turn out onto a floured work surface and knead for 7-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
The dough should feel moist to the touch.
The dough can be made with an electric mixer, mix for 5-7 minutes, or a food processor for about 1 minute.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl and tutn to coat with oil.
Cover with cling film and let it rise in a warm place for 1 1/2-2 hours until doubled in size.
For the topping use fresh spinach leaves, sliced ricotta, a pinch of nutmeg and salt and ground black pepper.

Spicy Thai Pizza

Combine rice, 1 cup cheese, 1/4 cup peanut butter and egg in large bowl.
Press firmly into 12-inch pizza pan or 10-inch pie pan coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 8 minutes.
Mix remaining 3/4 cup peanut butter, water, cilantro, soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil and red pepper in small bowl; set aside.
Stir-fry broccoli, onion and carrots in remaining 1 tablespoon sesame oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until tender-crisp.
Spread sauce over crust; top with vegetable mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Spicy Mexicana Pizza

Make up the pizza base as per pack instructions.
Make up the soya mince as per pack instructions.
Preheat the oven to 200 c, 400 f, gas mark 6.
Heat oil in a frying pan, add the soya mince and contents of the taco seasoning sachet and fry for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Spread the tomato paste evenly over the pizza base and spoon over the soya mince evenly.
Arrange the remaining ingredients on the top.
Place in the preheated oven on the middle oven shelf and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Notes serve with a crisp green salad.
Notes: a tasty vegan pizza for any occasion.

Spicy Garlic Chicken Pizza

Here is another recipe that i found on an aol bulletin board.
We had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious!
Rinse chicken; pat dry with paper towels.
Cut chicken into 1/2 inch pieces.
In a large bowl combine half of the green onion, the minced garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, the first tablespoon oil, and the red and black peppers.
Add the chicken pieces; stir to coat.
Let stand 30 minutes at room temperature.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Heat remaining oil in a large skillet; add chicken pieces.
Cook and stir about 3 minutes or till no longer pink.
Stir cornstarch into reserved marinade.
Add to skillet.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Spoon evenly atop bread shell.
Sprinkle with cheeses.
Bake, uncovered, in a 400 degree oven for 12 minutes.
Top with remaining green onion and nuts.
Return to oven for 2 minutes more.

Spicy Eggplant Pizza

This recipe is from the pastorelli pizza sauce label.
I made it sunday with a boboli crust, and it was very tasty.
Heat 1/4 cup of the olive oil in a medium sized frying pan.
Add the eggplant cubes and hot red pepper and saute over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until the eggplant is tender but not mushy.
Discard the hot red pepper and set the eggplant aside.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Lightly coat a large pizza pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle with ground cornmeal or breadcrumbs or use a boboli.
Lay the cheese over the pizza dough.
Spoon pizza sauce over the cheese and then distribute the garlic and reserved eggplant over the pie.
Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the pie.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until crust is golden.
Notes: i used red pepper flakes and left them in with the eggplant.
We also thought the garlic was a little too harsh, and would probably add that to the saute next time.

Spicy Chunky Pizza Sauce

In a large saucepan, combine crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic powder, basil, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Cook over low heat for 25 minutes, or until sauce is thickened and the flavors have blended.
Spread sauce evenly over a pizza dough or crust as directed in pizza recipe.

Spicy Broccoli Aioli Pizza

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Lightly grease 12″ pizza pan or 13 x 9″ pan; sprinkle with cornmeal.
Unroll dough; press in bottom and up sides of greased pan to form a rim.
Bake for 5 to 8 minutes or until light golden brown.
In food processor bowl with metal blade or blender container, combine oil, garlic, shallots, vinegar, romano, basil, thyme, oregano and red pepper flakes; process until smooth and set aside.
Arrange havarti over partially baked crust.
Place broccoli evenly over cheese.
Dollop oil mixture evenly over top.
Arrange pepper strips over broccoli; sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake for 17 to 22 minutes or until edges of crust are deep golden brown.
Serve immediately.

Speedy Salmon Pizza

Pre-heat oven to 200 c, 400 f, gas mark 6.
Drain the salmon and break the fish into large pieces.
Set aside.
Place the pizza bases on two silicone paper lined baking trays.
Spread equal amounts of the drained tomatoes over the pizza bases and arrange the salmon on top.
Decorate with the mushrooms and olives then cover with the cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Serve with salad.
Approx.
430 kcals per serving.

Spianata (Tomato-Dappled Pizza Blanca)

Warm olive oil over low heat in a saute pan.
Add garlic & after a minute or two, the tomatoes.
Cook over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes.
Allow to cool.
On a lightly floured board, roll out each pizza ball to form a 12″ by 1/8″ circle.
Place each on an oiled baking sheet or pizza pan.
Dimple the dough & brush the tops with the tomato mixture.
Preheat oven to 425f.
Bake until the crusts are crisp, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Spaghetti Pizza Pie

In large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes, until tender but firm; drain and transfer to bowl.
Toss with 1 tablespoons of the oil; let cool.
Toss with parmesan and egg.
Press over bottom and sides of greased 9-inch pie plate.
Meanwhile, in skillet, heat remaining oil over medium heat; cook onion, garlic, mushrooms, basil and oregano, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until thickened.
Sprinkle spaghetti mixture with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella; spoon sauce over top.
Sprinkle with green pepper and remaining mozzarella.
Bake in 375f 190c oven for 30 minutes or until spaghetti is golden brown.
Let stand for 5 minutes.

Spaghetti Pizza

Prepare spaghetti as directed and drain.
Blend milk and egg and add spaghetti and toss to coat.
Spray 15 x 18 inch pan with cooking spray.
Spread spaghetti mixture in pan.
Brown beef, onion pepper and drain.
Add sauce and seasoning.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Spread over spaghetti.
Top with mushrooms and mozzarella cheese.

Southwestern Style Pizza

Combine pizza sauce and salsa; spoon sauce over pizza crust.
Top with beans, pineapple, bell pepper, chiles and green onions.
Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.
Bake at 425 fahrenheit 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Garnish with extra salsa and avocado slices if desired.
In place of salsa, 1 cup pizza sauce can be used.
Nutritional information per serving: 218 calories; 4gm fat; 498gm sodium; 2gm fiber; 11mg cholesterol; 31g carbohydrate; 12g protein.

Southwestern Pizza

Sprinkle an oiled 14-inch black steel pizza pan or black steel baking sheet with the cornmeal.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a 14-inch round, fit it into the pan,and brush it with 1 tablespoon of the oil.
In a small bowl whish together the tomato sauce, cumin, and jalape.
No pepper and spread the mixture evenly on the dough.
Sprinkle the monterey jack over the mixture and arrange the onion and the bell pepper rings on the pizza.
Sprinkle.
Garlic and olives on the pizza, season the pizza with salt and black pepper, and drizzle it with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil.
Bake the pizza on the bottom shelf of a preheated 500 degree fahrenheit electri.
C oven or on the floor of a preheated 500 degree fahrenheit gas oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Transfer the pizza with spatulas to a cutting board, sprinkle it with the coriand.
Er, and cut it into wedges, preferably with pizza wheel.

Southwest Pizza

A greased 10 x 15″ jelly roll pan.
Spread dough into pan.
Bake 5 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Spread with combined tomato sauce and chili powder; top with bell peppers, chilies and cheese tossed with cilantro.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Southwest Tomatillo Salsa Pizza

Heat oven to 375~.
Place tortillas on cookie sheet.
Bake 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.
In small bowl, mix tomatillos, tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, juice, garlic, pepper sauce, cumin and salt.
Stir in 1 cup cheese.
Mix chicken with chili powder, tossing to coat.
Spray skillet with pam.
Cook chicken until tender.
For each pizza, spreac 1/2 cup tomato mixture on 1 tortilla.
Top with chicken, onion wedges and 1/4 cup remaining cheese.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
