Stock-Soy Marinade F0R Bbq Spareribs

Mince garlic and ginger root; then combine with remaining ingredients.
Add to spareribs and marinate.

Variations:

For the white sugar, substitute brown sugar.
Add 3 tablespoons honey and 3 tablespoons vinegar.
Add 1/2 cup catsup and 1 teaspoon salt.

Marinate beef for 20-45 minutes.

Stir Fried Carrots In A Cinnamon Marinade

To make the marinade, combine the wine, orange juice and zest, and cinnamon in a nonreactive mixing bowl.
Whisk in the oil a little at a time.
Add the shallots, garlic, thyme, coriander, and bay leaf.
Yield 2 1/2 cups marinade.
Carrots: place the carrots in a nonreactive container or a 1 gallon zip lock platic bag.
Pour the marinade over the carrots and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
Remove the carrots from the marinade and set aside.
In a wok or deep sided saute pan, cook the marinade over high heat to reduce it to one third.
Add the carrots to the pan and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in the raisins and cook until heated, 3 to 4 minutes.
The carrots should be firm but not crisp.

Steak Marinade

Pierce steak so marinade can penetrate.
Place steak in a non metal dish just large enough to hold it or in a sealable plastic bag.

Steak And Ale Marinade 2

The following is the recipe used in 1978 for the hawaiian chicken, club steak, and kabobs.
I have included the original recipe for 64 chicken breasts or 48 steaks.
The second recipe is the reduced version we make for 12 chickens.
Mix together well.
Allow meat to marinate a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 48.
If holding the meat longer than 48 hours, pour off the marinade.
This recipe is for 12 chicken breasts.
1 cups soy sauce 1 cups sherry cooking wine 1/2 cups red wine vinegar 3/4 cups sugar 1 teaspoons garlic powder 3 per serving excluding unknown items: 98 calories; less than one gram fat 1% calories from fat; 1g protein; 24g carbohydrate; 0mg cholesterol; 1373 mg sodium.

Spicy Pineapple Marinade For Chicken

Puree pineapple, jalapenos and garlic in blender until almost smooth.
Add pineapple juice, lime juice, cilantro and lime peel and process until blended.
Pour marinade into large glass baking dish.
Add chicken, turn to coat.
Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours.
Prepare barbecue or preheat broiler.
Remove chicken from marinade.
Season with salt and pepper.
Pour 1/2 cup marinade into small bowl.
Whisk in honey.
Brush mixture over chicken.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Grill or broil until cooked through, turning frequently and basting with honey marinade, about 30 minutes.

Spicy Hot Caribbean Chicken Marinade

Place all ingredients except chicken in food processor or blender and blend till smooth.
Pour over chicken and marinade for 2-6 hours.
No longer than 6 hours.
Grill chicken and brush with marinade.
Note: i used serranos chilies instead of jalapenos.

Spicy Grilling Marinade Sauce

Combine ingredients in warm glass mixing bowl.
Mix ingredients slowly with bamboo brush.
Pour marinade into heavy duty plastic storage bag and add fowl, fish, or meat to be grilled.
Seal bag and refrigerate for four to six hours or overnight before grilling.
Baste often while grilling.

Spicy Fajita Marinade

Blend all of that in a blender and marinate 1-2lb thinly sliced chicken breast overnight.
You gotta cook it on a grill so some of this spice burns off.
It is pretty damn spicy, but i like it.
