Ingredients
Batter
- 1 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 1 cup(s) flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 cup(s) skim milk; at room temperature
- 1/2 cup(s) margarine; melted
Peach Mixture
- 1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) allspice
- 2 cup(s) peaches; sliced (i used fresh
Directions
- Preheat oven at 350.
- Prepare a 8 x 8″ pan with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt.
- Then, blend in milk and margarine.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- In another mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and peaches.
- Toss to coat evenly.
- Spoon peach mixture evenly over batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
- If desired, serve with ice cream.
