Pasta With Marinara Sauce
Yields: 1 serving(s) - Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 200 gram(s) maggi pasta - penne
- 1 pack maggi napolitana pasta sauce mix
- 3/4 cup(s) boiling water
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 garlic cloves; crushed (1 to 2)
- 1 teaspoon(s) paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) chilli powder
- 500 gram(s) marinara mix or mixed seafood; (cut into small pieces)
- 1/2 cup(s) red or white wine
Directions
- Add the pasta to a large quantity of boiling salted water and cook for approximately 11 minutes or until just tender.
- While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce.
- Place the sauce mix in a bowl.
- Add the boiling water and whisk until smooth.
- Set the sauce aside.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan.
- Add the garlic, paprika and chilli powder and cook, stirring over a low heat for 1 minute.
- Add the seafood to the pan and cook over a moderate heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the seafood is almost cooked.
- Add the wine and simmer for 1 minute.
- Stir the sauce into the seafood mixture.
- Drain the pasta and place in a serving dish.
