Neuchatel Cheese Fondue
Yields: 1 serving(s) - Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove; halved
- 600 gram(s) swiss gruyere grated
- 200 gram(s) swiss emmental; grated
- 450 milliliter(s) dry white wine
- Nutmeg
- Black pepper
- 4 teaspoon(s) cornflour
- 1 measure of kirsch
Directions
- Cut the bread into cubes and put in a basket.
- Grate the gruyere and emmental.
- Rub the garlic clove in the fondue pan, warm the wine and add the cheese mixture.
- Mix the cornflour and kirsch together and add to the pan.
- Gently bring to the boil, stirring all the time.
- Simmer gently until thickened, add the nutmeg and pepper and serve.
