Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) onion; finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
- 2 cup(s) cooked chicken; diced (or turkey, ham, pork or roast beef)
- 1 cup(s) cooked mixed vegetables
- 1 can(s) cream of chicken soup; (10 3/4 ounce)
- 1 teaspoon(s) poultry seasoning (for chicken or turkey, only)
- 1 teaspoon(s) celery salt
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1/2 cup(s) chicken broth
- 1 cup(s) grated cheddar cheese
Directions
- Place onion and butter in a 2 quart casserole.
- Cover with wax paper.
- Microwave at high 100% until tender, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Combine all ingredients except cheese, with onions.
- Cover with wax paper.
- Microwave at medium high 70% until heated through, 12 to 14 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Microwave at medium high 70% until cheese is melted, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Note: if using ham, use cream of asparagus soup.
- If using leftover roast pork, use cream of celery soup.
- If using leftover roast beef, use cream of mushroom soup.
